Welcome to my photography portfolio! I’m an aircraft rescue firefighter currently stationed in Antarctica, where the stark beauty of the frozen continent inspires much of my work. From vast, unending ice landscapes to the unique challenges of life on the edge of the world, I aim to capture moments that many may never experience firsthand.
My journey into photography began at the University of New Mexico, where I studied Digital Media in the Interdisciplinary Film and Digital Media program. During my time there, I worked at UNM's ART research technology and science labs, where creativity and technology merged in exciting ways, and I had the privilege of serving as a teaching assistant for a photography course. These experiences allowed me to collaborate with esteemed photographers who greatly influenced my approach to the art.
Through my lens, I aim to blend my life as a firefighter and adventurer with the art of storytelling. Each photograph is a window into extraordinary environments and moments—whether it’s the delicate play of light on the icy expanse or a fleeting glimpse of life in one of the planet’s most remote locations. Thank you for joining me on this visual journey. I hope my images inspire your sense of wonder and curiosity for the world beyond the familiar.
